HP Jornada 680
Hi, I was wondering if an HP Jornada 680 can use a Linksys 54G wirless notebook card to get online instead of a 56k modem since it has a PCMCIA type 2 slot. Thanks

If you can find drivers for what ever operating system the PDA uses, then yes, otherwise no. Check with the manufacturer, if they support the operating system in question.

it is possible
I have a Jornada 680 and use an Enterasys RoamAbout high rate ds PCMCIA card. It works rather well for me. It works just fine using wifi hotspots etc. It also has a connector to add an external antenna if you want to get more serious. I've heard the card is basically a rebadged Orinoco Silver.

So don't give up on your Jornada! She is a good little machine. (especially since you can pick up a 1gig compact flash for about $99)

While it may well be possible with your setup, it is not possible AFAIR with the card that the OP asked about.
