SanDisk WiFi
I've got an iPaq 19xx - with a Sandisk SD WiFi card.
I've found it works great. It has a reasonably long range on my lan in the house i.e. I can sit in my garden in the sunshine! or upstairs/downstairs, without a hitch It also works with no probs with MiniStumbler too I've just got a GPS system with holder etc for iPaq 19xx (see prev' post) & will try it out with the SanDisk/MiniStumbler setup. One thing to watch out for is that SanDisk has launched an SD WiFi/256mb memory combo card as well, which helps eliminate the fact that using the ordinary SD WiFi card loses your access to extra mem cards at the same time. All in all a great product IMHO ![]() Edit: Oh yeah.... if you are going to use it for web browsing definately check out the Thunderhawk browser. It gives *proper* full screen web pages just as they would appear on a *proper* monitor screen - none of the usual cut down re-organsied mess ups that mobile IE gives you ![]() Last edited by Re@liTy : 09-01-2004 at 03:15 PM.
