iPaq and GPS question
I have an old iPaq 3830. I also have the pcmcia expansion pack with the battery in it. I have used MiniStumbler a few times just fine. With the expansion pack on how do I get it GPS info? I am currently using a Garmin Yellow Etrex with a regular cable to 9pin serial.
I have also been looking into something similar to the MobilePro series from NEC. I know they have PCMCIA which is good but I think they are slave serial ports. Any thoughts? I have checked NECs website but you have to register, it told me registration failed but not why. Confused, Thanks, Justin |

Well crap, I thought that the PCMCIA sleeve covered the data port on the bottom. Well it doesn't so all I need is a cable from my Garmin to my iPaq.
Still curious if anyone got a MobilePro working with ministumbler, I searched and didn't find any good info. Or possible the Jornada line too. Justin |
