14 DBi Antenna
Hi,
I would like to hook up a 14 DBi antenna to a Linksys router, so I can have WiFi access at the other end of my house and outside. I am wondering what the range would be for a 14 DBi antenna (clear line of site) and whether or not you need an FCC license to operate one. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

From there you can then look up what the FCC regs are regarding output power and determine if you're legal or not.
