Forgive me for having to do this, i did try searching the forums but could not find anything here.
I got NS installed fine, I have what appears to be a compatible card. at the bottom of the NS window in the status bar it says Access Is Denied and it flashes an excalmation point and a blue square. What does this mean? Im running XP Pro sp2 DWL-G630 all latest drivers/firmware Thanks in advance, Arls |

okay
Yes the icon that toggles in the status bar looks like the exclaimation point but i dont see the network card. its just a blue sqaure turned on its side 45 degrees.
After searching with DWL-G650 it looks like maybe this card isn't supported? All i really see is a bunch of people badmouthing some guy because he bought the same card i did. btw, i got it because it was 20 bucks after rebate @ officemax. -arls ![]() |

Chances are if you're getting that icon flashing in the status bar, you're SOL it's an unsupported card. Just cause it was cheap, don't mean it's good.

i've got NDIS 5.1 checked and I tried turning off wireless zero svcs to see if it helps. It's wierd i've foun
d posts of other people with the exact card, where they are able to make this work. Others, no go. I assume this all stems from this card not being officially supported. I think i saw a link out there for a Dlink driver released from the manuf. maybe that might work. ![]() |
