Book Sugestions
I just got done with WarDriving: Drive, Detect, Defend and half way done with Jeff Duntemann's Drive-By Wi-Fi Guide. I am looking for a good networking/wi-fi security book that is more advanced and up to date. Any suggestions?
The Jeff Duntemann book is great. I recommend it to everybody on this forum. |

Might want to recommend WDDD a bit more, 3 of the mods here are authors of it
![]() Other than those 2, there's not much else out there for true 'wardriving' books. There are a number of wifi project books out there (wifi toys, etc) but they are more for the gee-whiz project book than any true information resource.

If you are looking for more advanced info than what we had in WDDD, I would suggest the 2nd Edition of Jeff's book (judging from the title alone, it appears you have the first edition) or William Arbaugh's Real 802.11 Security: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...books&n=507846 Both of those came out a while back (Jeff's 2nd Ed right after ours I believe and Real 802.11 security either a little before or a little after ours). Hope those help.
