can't connect to college net
My community college offers a free laptop rental program that lets you connect to its wireless network free of charge. I decided to bring in my laptop to see if I can connect.
I ran netstumbler and it found a wireless AP. My connection "wizard" shows that a stable connection to a wireless network is there, and I'm "on" a new SSID. This network isn't encrypted though. I tried doing ipconfig /renew in DOS but it didn't help. I'm running 2k. Any advice on how to fix this? |

Ask the Network Admin. They will tell you all you need to know.
