Cisco Aironet 340 PCMCIA Card
Hi,
Is it worth buying a Cisco Aironet 340 PCMCIA card for £14.99 and is it compatible with the latest version of net stumbler?

It will work, if you're using XP or Win2000.

I wouldn't buy one, however. Off ebay, you can get a 350 for £20, it's a much better buy. There's a known bug with the 340's; they cannot limit their data rates to maintain a connection at a longer range. This will make it sucky if you plan to use the card for connecting to your home network, for example.

I'm using my 350 now, and love it. I suggest you buy one of these and go to cisco.com for updated drivers/firmware.

Thanks, I will probally install 2000 on my laptop when it arrives which should be soon but thanks for the advice I am just about to buy a 350.
