I didn't have any trouble getting the USB Earthmate to work with NS. When I installed the software, it asked me if I would like to install serial drivers to use the GPS with programs other than DeLorme Street Atlas. Then with the GPS plugged in, I went into Device Manager, right clicked on the GPS and changed the COM port.
