Consecutive MAC addresses
Hi,
After a WLAN audit of my neighborhood, NetStumbler listed lots of peer with consecutive MAC addresses. A part of this list contained 112 consecutive MAC addresses. So, when NetStumbler report consecutive MAC addresses as "peer", is it really mean that those MAC addresses form a single network? - Thanks. |

Thanks & Sorry
Thanks for the link and sorry for not having seen it.
I have made a search within NetStumbler for "consecutive mac addresses" but I found no answer to my question and I did not make the connection between the post's title "ad-hod weirdness - multiplying clients" and my question. Again, sorry and thanks. |

It's great that you searched, (believe me!) but it really pays to read through the FAQs here. Yes, there's a lot to wade through. Yes, a lot of it may not apply to your particular question(s). However, things are put there precisely becasue they've been frquently asked before. Besides, hopefully, you'll learn something else.

DOH!! It's gonna take me another few months to get in another GI Joe yell again. I need to get the boss to give me access to the wifi at work.
