Different icons for different APs?
I export my NS summary file, translate it using GPSBabel, and read it into Mapsend (Magellan GPS mapping SW). Does anybody else do this?

Also, is there a way to distinguish, say, encrypted from non-encrypted APs so that they produce different icons in Mapsend?

Yes. You can determine the encryption status based on the Flags.
