Easy to make Antenna?
Saw this on E-Bay and thought it would be easy to make? Any thoughts?

Looks like a circuit board yagi. Not hard to make if you know what the size and spacing of the traces is (that's the key). You can buy copper clad board from Radio Shack and etch one yourself alot cheaper then the $69.95 they're asking for it.
Plus they use LMR-100 (will have a loss of 1.2dB for the 3 foot) If you uses LMR-240 you'd only have .4dB (but not as flexible) I do like the idea of the "Smart Scanner" antenna. Mount a Yagi on a X-10 camera pan/tilt base. That would give you alot of control rather then holding it by hand. I could see this being useful and a great DIY project. [EDIT] Wait, I found it at Ramsey Electronics (Local for me, I'll have to stop by or at least wardrive them). These guys you can trust, give them a call.
