Question Good card that works on most WiFi programs?

I just downloaded netstumbler only to find out that my (new) card isn't supported. I would like to purchase another card, but thought I'd ask you guys for some help with picking one out. What's a good card that seems to work well with netstumbler - as well as with other programs & linux based programs like kismet and airsnort. I wouldn't mind if it's an older card, just as long as it works decently =) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Without a doubt, the Orinoco Classic Gold Card. It has great support in both Windows and Linux.

Indeed. And if one really needs a/b/g support, Atheros is a fine choice under these two OS (I've heard some recent Proxim cards feature an Atheros chipset & external antenna connectors).

post-edit: it's the Proxim 8470-WD.
