H5500
I bought this expensive HP palm but I see that ministumbler does not detect any AP while the iPAQ wireless functions does...
Does anybody know if I'm doing something wrong?

The wireless chipset used in the HP5500 is not supported.

It depends on the firmware for the wireless card. The newer one breaks mini I beleve.

Actually, I have an iPaq 5550 and MS works perfectly using the internal wireless.

I can't speak for the 5500.
