Long story............ I decided to get a Linksys WMP54G card because i thought i would not only get better range but more likely be able to get the signal across the street. Not only can i not get the signal but the strength is not even a quarter of what it was with the D-Link card....... Any suggestions?

I have the latest driver and I am using LMR 400 cable with high quality connectors so i know its not either of those things.

Thanks
Hey there, Knick Knack. Do you have permission to connect to the Library across the street? If not, you may as well go give your dog the bone.

Sure, ask the administrators of the network you're trying to connect to what they would recommend to connect to their network.

We understood..

Did you verify the impedance of your LMR400 Cable?
Did you verify the input Impedance of your waveguide?

I'm sure we understood. But your follow-on posts have left me with a feeling of not wanting to hellp you. Up to 500' with a sat dish and cantenna? That kind of sucks. What is "well over". 520, 520, 800?
