How can I find info on everyone using the network?
My roommate has issued me a challenge: I'm helping my him set up a wireless router (but I'm still a newbie too!) in our college apartment and he wants to know if it's possible for me to see the IP and MAC (and possibly hostname) of everyone using his network. I told him I thought so, but that I wasn't sure. He's got WEP and MAC filtering. Is there any way in NetStumbler or another program to get this info without being a part of his network? Thanks for your help!

Not with Netstumbler. You would need a passive scanner like Kismet.
Start Googling.

What you need to see all the AP's and users attached to them is a Wireless
Sniffer, which is what AiroPeek NX is. you can also try NAI Sniffer portable/wireless. Be warned that both programs require certain cards to work correctly, so read the Requirments before you buy.
