How to change APs
I have two APs showing in netstumbler. My computer is choosing to use one but I would like to switch to the other. How do I do that?
The voice in my heads tells me that it would be my client manager that controls that task, not stumbler. But I see no such options. I have Orinoco card and client manager (variant 1, version 3.04) |

You should make a profile in your Orinoco client manager, which sets the SSID to "ANY" (without the quotes), unbind the TCP/IP protocol from the netcard in the network connection properties, and then run Netstumbler. As for connecting to different AP's when not using Netstumbler, I refer you to your card's clientmanager documentation. It is all stated there, if you can't deduct the procedure from the first part of the above paragraph Just my 0.02€'s worth... Dutch |
