How do you measure the bandwidth being used on a wireless connection?

Netlimiter doesn't seem to include my wireless connection, neither does the built in Windows one (when you press cntrl alt delete)

I just want to see how fast my D-Link DWL-G650 is going

Transfer al large file (of known size) see how long it takes then do the math.

Ok, I copied a 736,380,928 byte file in exactly 4 minutes.

736,380,928 bytes / 240 seconds = 3068253 bytes/sec.

Convert to bits
8 x 3068253 bytes = 24546024 bits/sec

or 23.41 mbits/sec

Nowhere near 108 mbits hmm Maybe it's because I was copying to my laptop so the hard drive is probably too slow

You need to define your environment -

You copied a 736,380,928 byte file in exactly 4 minutes - to your laptop hard drive - what's the source of the file, was it "local" or connected via a WAN link, was there any other network traffic on the same link, was there other network traffic on the wireless link.

Throughput will be limited by the smallest "pipe" or by congestion anywhere along the "pipe" regardless of it's size - you can also try Qcheck a free test utility.

I have 11b and would be very happy that speed. I always switch to 100/full ethernet for large file transfers. That speed sounds good if I were the judge in real life with other computers on the WiFi for an over drive system.
