Loox 420
Sadly I ran over my old HP (Don't ask!) of which ministumbler worked like a dream.I am not an expert on stumbler of PPC so really any basic help would be good.
To cut a long story short I was given a Fujitsu-Siemens Pocket Loox 410, and I cannot get it to work. Now I assume that the internal Wireless card is not compatible, it mention's something about a TNETW device. Can I get this to work with another driver? or am I stuffed? Paul. |

The only way you will get MS to run with a PDA's built-in Wi-Fi is to make
sure the chipset is Hermes based, otherwise it ain't gonna work, or will cause lots of problems. Since the Loox series of PDA's don't support PCMCIA Addon jackets, your severly limited to what you can do.. 1. Try Pocket Wince 2. Get a CF to PCMCIA adapter and a lucent "Classic Gold". ....Disable the built-in wi-fi and use the ext. lucent with MS. 3. Get an IPAQ that supports the PCMCIA jackets.
