Yes. Enclose your home in a Faraday Cage. All machines inside will have access, all machines outside will not be able to see it.

Unplugging the access point's power adapter works wonders too.

It looks like you've already managed to mask your shift key....

It's funny you mention that, I've joked around about doing that. But wow, that much brass screen holy shit would that be expensive. Hope you don't want to use your cell phone in the house anyways.

I've read about "wifi blocking paint" you guys know anything about that stuff? does it actually work or is it b.s.?

Nah... I'm good on that... I'm just wondering if its bullshit or if that actually works or not. Didn't even have to look at the price of that I already know its way out of my price range even if I was that paranoid.

Thats an idea that I've never thought of, and is just crazy enough that it I guess could possibly work... Too bad I dont have aluminum siding on my apartment. otherwise I'd try it just to see if anything happened or not.

Yea, the bricks on the side of my house are fairly wifi transparent.

Take apart a bunch of microwaves and surround your house with magnatrons and energize them... I don't think a wifi signal will get through that <evil laugh>. Just be sure to point them all towards the INSIDE of the house.

Faraday cage is one way, another is create a parameter of 2.4 ghz white noise around your house so that the receivers would get alot of static and thus no usable data. Also you can just BUY ALOT of FRIGGING land and be so far off the road that someone would need a WIFI SNIPER RIFLE to reach that far in on your land.

Course the best way would be to turn off the SSID broadcast, use the highest form of encryption you have and rotate the keys/pass codes regularly.

But what do I know......

Yeah just stick the router/ap in the faraday cage it'll work wonders...
And don't go stealing my mangatron ideas

To the OP: Honestly seriously.... If your THAT worried about someone accessing your network. Turn the wifi off (if the router/ap supports it) or go buy a wired router and run CAT5 ethernet cables... Problem solved.... The network is "masked" and wont be found by any wifi card running any program at all....
