my card won't work rtl8187
hello i have a motherboard with the realtek rtl8187 usb built in the motherboard is a asus p5b wifi edition it shows up in netstumbler and you can select it but i can't use it the program says the adapter is not present i was wondering what i could do i have ubuntu also but im running xp 64bit mainily or would there be a different program i could use thank you

1. The search button will do wonders for your knowledge of your Wifi adapter.

2. You will do a lot better by properly formating your words and sentences.


I suggest you go read the Welcome Desk, then use the search functions on the forum. Then if you come to an impasse, ask a more thought out question. This will give you the results you desire from asking the forum a question.

Otherwise you will just become BBQ.

So, you're saying an unsupported card on an unsupported operating system doesn't work?

This . is called a period. Use it. When you take the letters acehrs and mix them around a bit you'll eventually form the word search. You'll see that same word up above. If you we to click on it you'll be transported to a magical world that will let you give you the power to control time. Although it will only let you see the past it's good enough.
