Need expert verification b4 I purchase

Hi guys, after about a week of reading every damn article here I'm about to take the plunge and create my own antenna to connect a friend's pc to my network (we live across the street from eachother).

The people at FAB corp havent replied to my e-mail so I was hoping someone here could help confirm that what I'm buying will all fit together.

Linksys WMP11 Wireless Card, want to connect that to a jumper
cable (120 inch Reverse Polarity SMA Male - N Male LMR400), want to
connect that to an N Female bulkhead connector(or N-Female Panel mount) which I am sodering to a homemade antenna.

The questions I basically have are:
Will the Linksys WMP11 wireless card connect to the Jumper Cable's
RP-SMA Male end?
Will the Jumper Cable's N-Male end connect to an N-Female Bulkhead
connector or an N-Female Panel mount?

I'm pretty sure all of this is sound, but being that I haven't come across information that clearly states this I don't want to assume. Thanks for your help!

That sounds right to me. Those great guys at fab-corp know there stuff and have never steered me wrong on my previous orders over the past few years. Always had great service and help from them. I can't think of any complaints from any of the forum members here.

Hope that helps.

I expect the WMP11 is in your friends computer and the AP is on your side of the street? Remember to check your ISPs Terms Of Service, often it is against many ISPs TOS to share a connection.

Usually. In some radio setups, it is an isolated ground for the antenna circuit only to prevent ground loops, but I've never seen that in any AP. To guard against any possible issue, check it with a multimeter.

If you don't own a multimeter, buy one. They are one of the most basic electronic test tools, and at less than $20 at Sears or Radio Shack for a basic unit, are a cheap investment.
