Stubler 0.4.0 logs
Your comments are great, but am seeking answers.
Windows users: XP-pro DWL-650+ NetStumbler 0.4.0 I have monitored my own AP to test secuirty, the AP was monitored 4hrs the first time, and 6hrs second time. I saved that info to a file, but now I do not know how to examine it. |

So you have monitored your own AP using NetStumbler... What do you want to examine? Everything you need to know is in the various panes. It may be that you do not understand what NetStumbler does and does not do. Quite simply it locates wireless networks and records some basic information such as the SSID, RF Signal and Noise levels, etc. If a GPS receiver is attached to the laptop it also records the location of the laptop at the time the AP was seen. You may export the data for statitical analysis and/or mapping. NetStumbler does NOT do such things such as record packets or do any kind of network topological analysis. Other tools are needed for those functions.
