Red Blinking Cirlce in status bar
I found a post about this elsewhere but it appears that the thread died. I'm new to the this so bare with me.

A couple friends and I have been getting a red blinking circle in the status bar at the bottom of the NS screen. Normally we would have the NS main icon flashing down there and everything would be working ok, however every so often the red blinking circle starts flashing and from there on out No AP's are picked up.

I would appreciate any info on this topic, and I hope I did this right without breaking any rules.

yeah I looked at that page, under normal operation i have a blinking Main Program Icon with AP logging left and right, but every now and then ill look down and have a poor signal icon flashing and i wont pick up any AP's after that.

Any ideas?

Ya know, I haven't quite finished my Dentistry degree yet, so I'm not really up for pulling teeth.

How about OS, Service Pack levels, Driver versions, notebook brand.

Well that is a Hermes 2 chipset so it should be working like a top.
