turbocell, what who uses this - isp's etc?
Hi finally moved from my remote highland retreat in scotland and did my first succesful wardrive in peterborough England. Turned up an ssid
11 PE12DXMAST01 the pe1 2dx is a local postcode in the downtown area and I noticed the ssid was not an ap ad hoc etc but a turbocell. After looking on these forums & google I found turbocell was a sytem for handling access & authentication for wirelessly for isps and had karlnet who apparently invented it had a hotspot in a box system they were hoping people like small businesseswould take up in the uk. so is it a safe bet that my turbocell is some sort of wireless isp for locall business users or one of these hotspot in a box packages. from the ssid itlooks like its situated up on a mast somewhere so is probably the former of the two I suspected, doing all its work up on high somewhere.
