Using Netstumbler without Administrator

I just recently lost administrator access to my computer, and consequently NetStumbler has ceased working. I have spoken with the administrator, and she will provide access to the necessary folders, but we were unable to figure out exactly which folders and files NetStumbler uses to operate.

I would appreciate any help on this problem.

You may have to rely on using RunAs or variation thereof such as an encrypted RunAs to run under a non-admin account.

I believe the admin should be able to take ownership and then uninstall. Then make sure to install so that all users can use, if thats okay with you and the admin.

That's just sad. How exactly does one lose administrator access to ones computer? Or is it a company computer and you are just using it?

Thanks for the suggestions.

And nothing was done to lose access, just the implementation of a new system. But it's odd to not have it.

No it's not. It's quite common for companies to deny admin access to the common peon. It prevents them from installing shit they're not supposed to have.
