The WAN LED on my home wireless router is blinking (indication of internet activity), but AirSnare does not report any abnormal activity. What may be the reason?
I have also checked the DHCP Client List on the router, and found no IP address assigned to any unknow computer. ![]() Last edited by bravemadman : 08-04-2005 at 03:47 AM. |

Also, are you aware that AirSnare is designed to detect WIRELESS traffic...hence the 'Air' part of the product name.

Does it blink continously? Can you get etheral plugged into it and look at the traffic? And as Starpoint mentioned, cable or DSL and who is the provider. |

It may just be your modem talking to your router, as far as I know mine does it. I can have the wired PC and the wireless laptop turned off and the WAN light will happily flash away to itself.
Is this a new thing or has it always done it? |
