Welcome to the Newbie Lounge.

The Newbie Lounge has been set up by your gracious host aFR as a place for new people to come in and post questions without fear of being flamed. Think of it as a "Newbie Friendly" area. Just because it says 'Newbie' is not an admission of guilt or ignorance but a somewhat 'protected' introduction to the forums.

Unlike the rest of the forums, flaming is NOT tolerated here, in any form.

Newbies will no doubt ask "What would draw flames in other areas for the forums?" Typically, "flamebait" questions are those which are answered in the README and the FAQs, or questions about how to do something which is outlined in the Owner's Manual for a given piece of equipment.

Before posting here, we still encourage you to search the forums.

If a newbie posts a question that would be considered flamebait in other areas of the forum, the other members may give a straight answer, or they may ignore them. They just cannot flame the newbie. Any flame will be immediately removed.

As a new person, if you have entered a question here and it has gone unanswered, that is an indictation that the answer has an easy and obvious answer. If it goes unanswered in here, and you decide to post it in a regular forum, "Abandon all hope."

Normal forums rules apply pertaining to legal issues. Any questions about illegal access, "warez", etc. will be removed.
