what is a good wireless car to use.

If you mean "card", then the best for use with NetStumbler is the ORiNOCO Classic.

Wireless Cards I use and like are (not in any specific order of preference).

D-Link DWL-A650 (Atheros)
Orinoco Gold (the real classic) (Hermes)
Linksys WPC11 V.4 (Realtek)
Orinoco Mystery Card (aplty named Silent Death) (Hermes)
Data-Linc FLC800C (Prism)


All work with NS to some degree (Hermes is 100% supported).

Dell Truemobile 1150 (Orinoco Gold) if you can find somebody that doesn't know it's really an Orinoco Gold then it be picked up pretty cheap. Works great in Windoze and Linux
