Why Can't I access the Internet on my own WiFi network?

Hello: I have two WiFi networks in my house, (b) and (g). I got a USB WiFi adapter for both b and g, and am trying to use netstumbler to sign onto my networks, and it is not working? I see both networks on the netstumbler page, (yellow icons). Do I need to do something else to get onto the networks? I should mention that I am trying to do this by using a USB extension cord and attaching the USB adapter to a chinese skimmer (per http://www.usbwifi.orcon.net.nz/)

Reason is I am trying to build a home office in my garage, and the access points are at the other end of the property in the house. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like Netstumbler is working just fine. You might want to read the FAQ on what Netstumbler does and doesn't do.
