Wi-Fi card?
Looking into the pcmcia cards for support under *nix (whoppix and friends mainly). Heard about the gold cards, and is it true they are the best for the job? Also, on ebay they have one for about 60$ shipped with a 7db external antenna (3 meters long). This looks good, but I want your opinions here. Also seen this one without an antenna, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...784242218&rd=1
for 17$. Money really isn't an issue but I'd like to save the money if its not really worth it. Here is the 60$ card: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...783596812&rd=1 (My damn dell a/b/g card isn't supported . )Thank you, very much. |

Read the Forum subsection description, then head up to the Welcome Desk section and read ALL the posts there. Pay particular note to the post regarding problems with your hardware. That post will point you in the right direction where to ask if a particular card will work with a particular computer architecture/program/operating system. Thread closed. Dutch
