are ANY CF cards supported?
Luckily I'm using the Orinico/Lucent WaveLAN card with my Casio E-115, but are there any CF 802.11b cards supported or are they all PCMCIA so far?
...not that I'm impatient or anything, just curious if anyone out there got one working with MiniStumbler or not. I'm looking to spend some cash. -Mc |

1. That was about as far from being mean as you could have been. Cool...
2. The cards listed (in the readme) that work are PCMCIA cards (not CF). I realize that the LONG list of cards that are not supported pretty much knocks all of them out, but was curious if I missed a post somewhere where someone got a CF card working. So I'll ask again, has anybody gotten a CF 802.11b card to work? ![]() thanks... -Mc |

Well, I have been checking on this for a little while now. I was thinking that the Buffalo card used the Hermes chipset as well. Someone on the net has both the Lucent Gold and the Buffalo CF but he says he can't get the Buffalo to accept the Lucent driver (and i forget the explenation why but he knew his stuff cold).
Oh if there was only a Orinoco CF card. I've spoken to our development guys and they say they aren't going to persue it. It's a shame. If they could give me my Gold card in a CF format (and they say it's impossible right now) with an external antenna jack, I'd pick one up without hesitation. I'll keep looking. SOMEONE'S bound to have one that works... -Mc |
