Dell Axim X50v does not detect.
I installed MS 0.4 on my new Dell Axim X50v (has internal wireless). I assume the OS version warning is expected as MS was done for WM2002 and Axim is running WM2003SE. Anyway, MS runs just fine, but does not detect the APs that my adjacent laptop sees just fine. I have not read anywhere what chipset is in the Axim, but will post when/if I do. Is it possible that another driver may get things working?

Linksys WCF54G Does not work
The new compact flash G wireless card from Linksys, WCF54G does not yet work with MS 0.40, on my Ipaq 3850, with PPC 2002 (WINCE 3.0). The WCF54G network scan software that comes with the card does work, but it's not quite MS. It displays an error message when you try to activate scanning of OR-8 on the bottom panel of MS. It attempts to use the Orinco driver. The cards works on the 3850 with all of my other software, just not MS 0.40. The chipset is reportedly WaveLAN multi-mode chipset from Agere Systems.

SanDisk SDIO WLAN card
I tried the SanDisk SDIO WLAN card (without Memory) with both available drivers and found out:
- With the Driver by SanDisk Ministumbler finds only the network to which the card is associated. - With the (much nicer) driver by Socket (same hardware) Ministumbler says "No wireless". HTC Himalaya / Windows Mobile 2003 |

Pretec SD WLAN Card
Mio 168 with Pretec SD WLAN Card doesn't work with MiniStumbler.
Anyone knows what kind of chipset this card uses? I tried with 'Prism' chipset drivers but didn't work. The original driver seems not work with any WLAN scanner (tried aswell with Pocket Warrior, PocketWinc, Hitchhiker, WiFiFoFum). |

No Ministumbler with Aironet 350
Can't get Ministumbler to work with:
-Cisco Aironet 350 Series (352) PCMIA card This is even after installing the correct CAB file for processor type (HPC2000 w/ ARM). The software itself works but it doesn't recognize the card 'no wireless adapter found'. Pretty crappy as the 350 is one of the best supported cards for windows ce...but oh well. |
