Hi everyone,
Sorry about this!! Total newbie question coming up. Does anyone hav miniStumbler working with this pocket PC?? (Compaq iPAQ H3630)

Sorry once agin for the newbie questions but I would really like to hear your stories on this!!

sure, i own an ipaq 3660 (wich is the same as 3630 but with 64mb main-mem, as u know). my nic is an elsa mc-11 wep64 (wich is an orinoco silver) with the lucent 8.10 firmware branded. ministumbler works fine for me (thanx again to marius for his work). you should use some other handy tools also to infiltrate the target(like ceniffer, vxutil and tolls from interrorem). this makes your ipaq a wireless hack-in-the-box-toy.

Yep, I run on an iPAQ 3630 running PPC 2002 w/SP1. I use an ORiNOCO Silver card currently running the Summer 2001 drivers and firmware.

I have 3630 (PPC2002) upgraded to 64 meg, orinoco gold and a Pharos GPS. Works great. I just sit the Ipaq on the passenger seat and drive around and listen for the beeps. I export the info, clean it up and import it to STreets and Trips. Nice work Marius!!

can't find tolls anywhere, what does it do ?

Someone else uses a Pharos?

Have you found any good map software for it? I use a Pharos and my only complaint is the piss poor connector they made for it. Its constantly falling off of my ipaq.

Would you mind elaborating a bit on your setup and where you got the individual parts? Thanks.

I am using the Pharos with a Jornada 568. The update to there software is a great improvement from the previous version. For the connector, well on the Jornada it is rock solid and no complaints here.

Since the connector on your iPaq is crap might want to try using the serial connection. I would like to find a better map program, the current version does not let you input your current location as a waypoint.

ANy one have any suggestions on a good map program?
