iPaq 3950 ... does it or doesn't it ?
The 3950 appears to have a intel XScale processor which doesn't APPEAR to be supported.

Can anyone confirm whether this is the case ?

I found a thread in search which looked like someone was using NS on a 3950 but no confirmation.

The 39xx iPAQ work just fine with Ministumbler and a hermes pcmcia card (ORiNOCO Gold, Dell TrueMobile 1150) on a PCMCIA expansion sleeve... search the board and you will find members that have posted these units without having any issues...

Personally, I have the iPAQ 3970/3975 and it works like a champ

Thanks, I'll give it a go then !

Do you happen to know if the Compaq WL card is supported - someone mentioned that was a Hermes based jobbie but I can't find any reference to that either !!!

If you use the compaq make sure you have the WL110, not the WL100...

Thanks, will bear that in mind.

Just out of curiosity have you come across any useful tools for wired network troubleshooting (using the iPaq I mean!) ?
