@migo serial interface - anyone got it working?
Has anyone that owns the @migo (Amigo) got the serial interface to work with NS & GPS? If so what port?
I just locked up NS so I'll have to do a reinstall - don't pick port 6-8! |

null modem cable
DUH! That was my problem then... I was using a standard serial. I'll grab the null cable out of the box and try it. If it works... i'll pack up my Fujitsu tablet and keep the @migo in the car.

CONFIG FILE?
Amongo:
Do you know if there is a config file installed with miniNS? I **cked up something and need to reinstall. When reinstalled, it locks up again. So far I have not found a config or ini file. |

@migo null modem adapter -> Garmin
For those who have an @migo and a Garmin GPS data cable, i'm going to build a nullmodem (NM) adapter so you don't have to use gender changers.
After a trip to the local RatShack, I found that NM adapters are M/F instead of Male-Male. You then have to use a gender-changer to connect the GPS to the serial @migo cable (since they are both Female ends). So i'm going to make some Male-Male gender changers (about 3 inches). If anyone want's them... i'll sell them to you for the price of the connectors (from RatShack) and postage. Just lemme know. |

Re: CONFIG FILE?
See this
http://forums.netstumbler.com/showth...=&threadid=948 thread and check out the registry settings on your handheld. You may have the wrong com port assigned and it could be locking you up. Quote:
