Windows CE pre-3.0
I'm in the same boat. I have a Casio E-100 running Windows CE (2.11). But apparantly, nobody is supporting this platform anymore. Including Casio.
I've been trying to find a wireless CF card that runs on Windows CE, but they all seem to claim support only for "Pocket PC 3.0" or newer. I was planning to buy and try a CF card anyway. But I haven't found a CF card based on the Hermes chipset required for Ministumbler. |

Followup test
I just tested Ministumbler on the Casio E-100 and couldn't get it to run.
I get the error: MiniStumbler.exe - Can't find Ministumbler. (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available. Of course, I clicked right on it.. so Win CE 2.11 must be missing a library crucial for MiniStum. Also, I don't have a CF card installed (see above post.) I would have expect a "missing card" error, according to the FAQ. So it's possible the MIPS R4000 Win CE 2.11 is a bust. PS> I used to be a QA manager, so forgive the excessive detail. (I was also an engineer, so no bashing please.) |

itīs wrong! not all cards does only support pocketPC. take my tekram for example.
check my side and you will find some CF cards, the bromax and z-coms (also the reseller) does support CE 2.11. http://www.freenetworks.de.vu/wlan-cards/cf-wlan.html or this one (not my side) http://www.cewindows.net/peripherals/cfwirelesslan.htm the main problem is that this cards are prism 2 and prism 2.5 so netstumbler doesnīt support them :-( i hope that marius make the prism 2.x support asap. @marius you did a good job :-) |
