Just curious on the progress of the Symbol CF card for Ministumbler. If you need a beta tester, I will be more than glad to help

PDA: Ipaq 3835 with 128 MB SD Card with Bluetooth/CF Sleeve.
Wi-Fi: Symbol Spectrum 24 High Rate Wireless Networker CF.

First off, I am not inquiring about net stumbler. I am talking about mini stumbler. The site does not seem to have a FAQ on Mini Stumbler yet. Also if you go back a page or two you will see there is already a discussion about this, but no one is posting in the thread since it moved off to page 2 and no one here likes to go to page 2

I like going to page 2, just not on the first date.

It's been quite a while since I've seen any news on this.

Does anyone have an update on Symbol support, or support of another CF card?

Hmm lets see...Netstumbler and MiniStumbler support the same chipsets...you do the math. Guess that readme would come in handy huh?

it appears you do not know that Marius has the card, and is personally working on support for it...

please reserve the "RTFM" posts for those who know what's going on.

Sifter, Marius has the Symbol card and said this will be the first CF card supported (hopefully), perhaps if you read some of the other posts you would know that. It seems you are the one that hasn't been doing the math.

Sorry, no news yet, I haven't had time to work on it for a few weeks. I haven't forgotten though.

thanks. I know there are many of us anxious to do some mini-stumbling without having to buy lots of bulky stuff.

thanks for the update.

For an update you may want to look at this. Looks like maybe two or three months yet.

Imagine that... and will all the money that Netstumbler is raking in.. hand over fist... I couldn't imagine why he hasn't hired on a full senior SE team... Quit his real job, and work from his personal Marius747 that never lands except to stumble.

I think you may have misunderstood my post. I certainly appreciate what Marius does.. I was really just expressing my lack of understanding on how hard to write support for a network card is. Knowing that Marius has the card, apparently some info on it, and respecting his skills in coding... I figured it'd be a snap. Obviously I was mistaken..

but I guess I'm not Haxor-133t like you so I deserve such contempt in a reply..
