ir_begin.wav
Today, I decided to perform the copying of the file ir_begin.wav from my PC into the Windows directory of my Jornada 565 PocketPC.
I tried playing the sound and got a very low tick. No sound. I went back to the PC, copied ir_begin.wav onto the desktop. I opened it with Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder. Go to Save As > Change Button > [Format=PCM, Attributes=11.025 khz, 8-bit Mono] > Save Button. Copied the file into the Windows directory of my PPC and it worked. DSLBiker |

new AP sound on ipaq pocketpc
I had the same problem... sortof. Copied over a wav, and it didnt play, even when I clicked on it. Converted it from ADPCM 22KHz, 4 bit, stereo to PCM, 16KHz 8 bit mono and it worked. I think the little ipaq 3650 running 2002 can't do ADPCM, just PCM.
