2wire 100w antenna ??
Welp, I have the wireless setup in my home. I have a blitzz card and 2wire 100w router. Now, for better reception and distance, can an antenna be installed on the 2wire? Has anyone done it with results? I did the search thing for this info.
Thanks. I can get maybe 80-100 ft but thats in best conditions. |

The WiFi heart of a 100W is an ORiNOCO mini-PCI card. (I had opened a friends about a year ago.) It seems to me that there is a standard ORiNOCO antenna connector on it, although we did not add an antenna to his unit.
Search on the ORiNOCO mini-PCI, and see what you come up with for antenna connections. BTW, the FCC also has on file interior photographs of almost every device submitted for testing. Sometimes they aren't very clear, but you can usually get an idea of what the guts of a device are by looking there. Sorry, I don't have a link. They just revised there site; start at www.fcc.gov.
