Antenna to catch school's wireless
Hey I live in an apartment around 400 meters from my schools building. Even though one can catch it's wirless from a bar across the street, I wanted to be able to catch it from home. The line of sight from home to school isn't clear....as in there is a building in between.
Will it be possible to catch the wireless? I have a Dell TrueMobile on a XP machine. Cheers, Bhalla. |

If you can get the antenna high enough to clear the building, any would work. 400 meters is easy with a cheap antenna. Cable is another thing. You want to keep the length as short as possible.
And you would need permission to access the network as well.
