Antenna guru's, a question.
Got a quick question about this antenna:

What is everyone's general opnion of this type of antenna? I don't need anything to increase my range, but a little more oomph never hurts. I'm running a D-Link DI-614+ so compatibility isn't a problem. I would do a homebrew one, however time is fairly tight for me so I'd rather just pick up a mass produced one. The pricetag on it isn't ungodly high, quite resonable at $40 plus shipping costs. Would you guys buy it? Or is the microstrip type of antenna garbage? Thanks.

i suppose there's a quad or bi-quad behind the plastic cover.

Forgot about this thread. Anyway, is this antenna actually any good or should I look for something else?

Isn't a patch antenna just a biquad (or quadquad....) behind a cover?
