Any wireless cards that will accept an antenna with no modification?

I want to build a pringles antenna, i was just wondering what card i should get, that won't require modification to it. So in other words it has a jack to plug in the antenna. Any working rig suggestions would be nice too. Thanks.

BTW, this is just a suggestion, but how about opening a newbie forum, to seperate questions?

The popular ORiNOCO cards have an external antenna hookup... they require a pigtail to get from tiny connector to N-type.

Let me rephrase this a little bit, i meant a card or usb-connected wifi device, that could be had at my local best buy/Circuit city/CompUSA.

The orinoco gold is easy to find, mine was only $50 brand new, you can also get the silver card if the gold is sold out. There is nothing special about these 802.11b cards really, there are lots of them out there and the Orinoco is not rare.

ORiNOCO Cards

I have yet to see an orinoco card at 50.00, but try wirelesscentral.com or legendmicro.com. You can get a Dell TrueMobile 1500 which is an Orinoco Gold card for like 59.00.

I also have yet to see an Orinoco card sold in retail stores. I got the stumbler kit and it works great.

Do the Dell Truemobile cards have the same type of connector for an external antenna as the regular orinoco cards?

Pry the cap off. (The "plastic circle.")

For the "Uber Stumbler" in you..

Try the 200mw Engenius or Senao cards, both have
version with & without Antt. Jacks
