Anyone using a Powerbook?
I was curious as to if anyone here is using a Powerbook for finding AP's? I was thinking of getting one, and through Virtual PC on it using netstumbler to find the AP's. I think Kismet will work on it, but I was just curious in general if anyone here is using it, or any issues they can think of.
I'm kinda in the middle of purchasing a new laptop, I will probably go with a PC system (www.hypersonic-pc.com GX6 looks realy nice fully loaded). However I am open to the possibility of using a Mac. Anyone have any comments?

What did you search for??!!
Dude get what ever laptop you will get the most use out of. If you get a Mac just for looks, you will probably be dissapointed (or amazed how crappy Winbloze really is). Get what will be compatable with what you do the most. If you are into content creation, music, video, whatnot, a mac will probably be the best bet. If you are going to be using it at work and it's the only mac, well that might not be so good, it'll work it will just need a little more configuration to get it to do it seamlessly. My main computers are macs, I service them for the school district up here. My firewall and my server boxes run linux, and I have a pc for games. My main stumbleing laptop is a pc running linux, I do use the mac at work for tracking down access points hidden under teachers desks, closets, and celings. I also use my iPaq for the same. (I still don't know why my wife says I have too many computers, I didn't know that was possible.) Anyway just my rambeling, wandering thoughts.
