Avaya/Orinoco
i really hate to sound lame but i got an avaya gold card and i want to know if i can install the orinoco 8.10 firm/drivers on that card? i hear they are the same card and i only ask because like my asus video card i use only the nvidia drivers for is this kind of the same situation? thanx in advance..

why don't you just download the 8.10 f/w directly from avaya so you don't have to futz w/ hacking software? it's exactly the same stuff as orinoco's 8.10 f/w except that it's modified to find avaya's vid/pid.

i have an avaya. while they do take a seperate windows driver depending on firmware version, I used the generic orinoco 6.06 to downgrade the firmware. I could only imagine that 8.10 would be as successful.
