Belkin F5D7000 connector

I have a Belkin F5D7000 wireless card and I want to make a coffee can antenna. I would like to be sure of the cable/connectors that I need before I buy them.

I believe that I need a cable that has a RP-SMA Female connector on one end and on the other would be a N-Male connector. Where would I buy a cable like this? I looked at netnimble.net but it looked like they did not have the correct cable to do this.

Does anyone know if I buy the "extension" cable (in the top left corner) will that work instead of trying to find a site with the correct connectors?

Would this one be better? I was thinking of the 10 feet version. The 18 inch seems to be a bit short.

Keep in mind the longer the cable the greater the loss. It is usually best to have as short as cable as possible.

So you would recommend I get the "48 inch Reverse Polarity SMA Male - N Male LMR400" over the "48 inch Reverse Polarity SMA to N Male Pigtail LMR195"? (Just because of the LMR400)

To be honest I believe the Belkin card part, not the antenna, has a male end not a female end. So if I get the LMR400 cable would that have the wrong connector? I don't have the card available to look at right now but I will check later.

Do you happen to know how good netnimble.net is? I am thinking of getting the LMR400 (10' cable) from them. Their price is 32.40; including shipping.

I bought a cable from Netnimble.net. One end was a RP-SMA male and the other was Nmale. I wanted to make my own coffee can antenna but the problem is that the part that I bought at Radio Shack doesn't have the right connection. I have included a picture to show the end on the cable.

This is the part I bought from Radio Shack.

Thanks for the site but it really did not help me much. I at least not know the full name of the connector that is connected to the cable. Now I just need to find the female end.
