Best card to get( around $100 to spend )
I have about $100 to spend on a wireless card, I would like a card that is good for wardriving and packet sniffing.

For wardriving, the Hermes chip based Orinoco Gold classic card,

Why do you want sniff packets? They have no smell, you cannot get high from them, so why do you need to sniff packets?

I want to packet sniff these people that keep getting onto mynetwork, I dont know how they keep getting my wep keys but they get on it. I just wanna see what they are trying to do on there.

You don't need a wireless card to do that. You can do it from a wired machine. Just plug a PC into a HUB and your AP into the same HUB and then out from there to your router. You'll be able to see all the traffic without the hassle of setting up a wireless NIC to do it.

Sounds like you use the same WEP key or you use an incremented number as your WEP.


Either way you need to read about wireless security
