shadowtek cable tv bloke Join Date: Jul 2003 Posts: 21	Bluetakewireless card from maplin UK I just got a Bluetake wireless card from Maplin it was an end of line clearence on £26 worth trying with NS I had a few probs installing it alone .Had to get updated drivers from the website i then managed to get it installed and working on my network I then fired up NS and to my surprise it worked under the ndis5.1 drivers the laptop is a dell cp 233 with XP pro the card shows up as "FastVNET-R (3.3v) but comparing it against a belkin in same machine it keeps losing link qualite but signal is on were as the belkin is ok with 100%siganl strength and 100% link but the new card only gives 35% on link quality but looking at the card in detail it can be modded to have an eternal ant fitted this info may be of use to some one i wont be using it for stumbling though but just got it as a spare card __________________ UK Wardriving forum UK Stumblers also link there to a uk mappoint file with APs imported all sum files can be posted here http://uksumfiles.no-ip.info
