can i use normal copper?
i noticed that all the cable applications for ext antenna's are coax
can i use like normal copper like from cat5 and still retain the signal? the reason i ask is cuz i have a 2 inch square antenna that has only 2 flaps no coax connection

Youcan use CAT5 but you're signal loss will be quite high, even for a short length. For short runs, say less than 2 ft, would be OK to use old thinnet coax.
You preferably should use a 50 ohm microwave coax such LMR 400. |
