Can someone verify this card for me?

According to the FAQ section on your forum a card with FCC ID: IMRWLPCE24H should be 100% compatible with netstumbler....THIS is the card I am thinking about purchasing for use in my IBM ThinkPad R40 w/ WinXP Pro.

The only issue I could find in your FAQ section might be the WaveLan cards with 4.x Firmware version or older may need to be updated, and this ad has no mention of the cards firmware.

Just wondering if anyone would care to comment or verify compatibility of this card before I purchase.

If it has the right FCC ID# then it should be compatible.

Hey do you all realize that this is a rare thing. Here is a new guy that actually did some research and asked an intelligent question.

I think this guy should get some kudos or something. Welcome to the forum. Your dues are to pay the Mods/Regulars in beer/wine/or something more like starting fluid.

Great, someone with a clue shows up, and you scare them off like that.

Nah, if he has been lurking since February, then he knows the routine.

Yeah, It didn't take long here to notice this forum is one of the most spoonfeeding "Friendly" forums on the NET! Figured I better check the FAQ first!

I just wanted to make sure before the purchase. I'm trying to test a few different home brew antennas.

Thanks for the verify :-) Card Purchased!
